I developed Bollywood Hungama's Showdown, a comparative analysis feature for box office stats, enabling users to compare celebrities, movies, and studios. I also optimized database queries and contributed to the ongoing development of the website's sentiment analysis feature.
I am an active programmer of Binary Bolts #8570 under ABWA’s Robotics Lab & FRC Team. We created a robot equipped with autonomous operation and quick motion. We competed at New York Regionals in April 2024 and won the Team Sustainibility Award.
I received an opportunity begin mentoring students in Math Club (after School) while I was still in grade 10 because of my passion and expertise in contest math. Training both juniors and seniors have equipped me with the technique of leveraging content to diverse set of learners developing their love for math while filling in the areas of improvement at each level.
During summer, I host a web show, Back to School, on the Bollywood Hungama YT channel interviewing Bollywood celebrities. From tales of being a teacher's pet to lovely memories, I turn the pages backwards and share with my audience, the fun-filled school memories of the celebs as they get nostalgic. Some of the celebs who have appeared on the show are Ananya Panday, Tusshar Kapoor, Jimmy Shergill, Shruti Hassan, Shreyas Talpade, Yohani to name a few.
While still in middle school, I became the Co-founder of IMTC - International Math Team Competition, a platform created in 2019 during pre-covid times. The platform helps push the limits of aspiring Mathematicians through its portal. Since its inception till date, we have catered to more than 1,200 students. We also hosts contests biannually for students under the age of 18. IMTC boast sponsors like 1Password, Wolfram, Desmos, and Taskade.
IMTC Website IMTC PortalI built a courseware platform for The CALT, featuring a live moderation text-based classroom, graded assessments with performance metrics, and led the development of the website and contest portal. Alongside this, I taught the AMC 10 Bootcamp and played a key role in designing problem sets and facilitating student engagement. The CALT provides high-quality math education resources and fosters a global community of learners preparing for advanced competitions.
I led web development for the AMC Learning Program (ALP), managing a team of 4-5 developers and building an online course system. ALP focuses on providing advanced learning resources and problem-solving strategies to students preparing for AMC and other prestigious math competitions, fostering a strong foundation in mathematics.
I also developed a Mental Health App mental health app for my school Aditya Birla World academy enabling students to anonymously report bullying incidents directly to the school counselor. Key features include real-time reporting, privacy protection, and a secure interface for students to feel safe while sharing sensitive information. The app also incorporates AI powered features that analyze reported patterns to help counselors identify repeat offenders and provide timely intervention, ensuring a more supportive and responsive environment for the student body.
Rover & Patrol Leader of my group at 94th East Bombay Aga Hall Scouts and Guides - a part of Bharat Scouts and Guides. Started as a Cub Scout in 2013, graduated to a Scout in 2017 and now a Rover after a decade of community service.
430 hours of Community Based Service Learning at Little Theatre Club Mombasa (Asiliya Africa) as part of Aga Khan Development Network's Global Encounters camp at Mombasa, Kenya from 18 Dec 2023 to 4 Jan 2024. Taught them AI prompt engineering and digital initiatives. The programme fostered cultural understanding through service learning, leadership development and cultural engagement.
I volunteered with the Akanksha Foundation as part of an Student Social Responsibility (SSR) initiative to impart STEM knowledge to students of Mumbai Public School. Every Friday, I conducted sessions focused on math, science, and social science, integrating follow-up tests and curriculum enhancements to ensure continuous improvement. It was a fulfilling experience to share my passion for STEM and help these students deepen their understanding of complex subjects.
I completed the Independent Research & Paper Writing (IRPW) Course at Euler Circle, where I wrote a research paper on Integer Linear Programming. My research focused on the utilization of the simplex tableau method and explored efficient cases for adapted problems. This experience deepened my understanding of optimization techniques and their practical applications in solving complex mathematical challenges.
I conducted a comprehensive comparative analysis of logistic regression and advanced machine learning techniques aimed at improving the accuracy of weather forecasting models. Through this research, I explored the strengths and limitations of different predictive algorithms and their applications in real-world forecasting. The goal was to enhance model precision and provide deeper insights into weather patterns, helping to advance the field of meteorology through data-driven methods.
At the Wolfram High School Summer Camp, I used Mathematica to analyze the drop in EDM songs, applying computational tools to explore patterns and trends in the music industry. It was fascinating to see how data and algorithms could provide insights into something as dynamic as music, and this project allowed me to blend my love for technology with a creative field like EDM. It deepened my understanding of how computational thinking can be applied to diverse areas.
